LOVE IT!

Maor didnt know what a Hitachi was so when it came in the mail he looked at me like I was a little crazy for being so excited. 
I explained to him that I have had this on my wish list for seven years and am probably the last cam girl to get one. He still didnt get it until after we did the show.

Im glad this show worked. 
Personally I thought it was FANTASTIC!
But that might have been because I had some great sex. Really, really, great sex.
If we could have done two shows in a row we would have. So we just had sex again without the cam.

Dirty Pictures

Well I dont know when the last time I did a picture set was but its been a long time!

I got the idea a couple days ago to do a dirty picture set...of myself doing chores. Get it? Dirty?
...yeah Im a dork.

New Years Resolution

I am going to do a new drawing and/or painting every week for the rest of the year.

I tired to do this 2 years ago where I posted a new drawing every day for a year but I only made it three months before I got caught up in life and lost it on http://sporksandcrayons.blogspot.com/

This year Im going to be a little more realistic and push for something new once a week.

Time to pull the graphics tablet back out!

Cabin Fever!

Once again its that time of the winter where I have been hit with cabin fever!
Not working retail this year made it come on a lot quicker. Usually I dont start going stir crazy till around February. 

I havent really left the house for anything but grocery shopping and work for two months. I did have that 4 day weekend in Wisconsin with my parents but I mostly hid in their house. 
Its too cold to go outside, we're too broke to hit up a museum, and its freezing out. I didnt want to mall walk over the past two months because who the hell wants to go to the mall if they dont have to over the Christmas season? 

So after Lea gets up from her nap and has lunch we are going to the Mall of America to walk around. Im not a fan of malls but I need to see something besides the inside of this house or my office. 

Welcome home

I havent written about it but Maor is finally home!!

Having him back is taking some getting use to. Things move to where I didnt put them, my snacks disappear at an alarming rate, there are constantly muddy foot prints I have to clean up in the kitchen, and I have to sleep on my side of the bed again.

I am having a much easier time relaxing after Lea goes to bed though. While Maor was gone I thought about what I would do if someone broke into the house every night. I havent sense he got home. My brain automatically assigned it as his problem... it does the same thing with tire pressure and oil changes.

Lea is very happy daddy is home but hasnt actually gotten use to him being around yet. She wants his attention all the time, she refuses relax before bed if hes around, and for some reason shes very unsure about him feeding her spoon food. She has a look on her face that says "You dont normally do this. Whats going on?".

Maor is getting use to being nagged again, the freezing cold, and hes got to start being quicker about putting up a spit up cloth when Lea starts blowing raspberries with a mouth full of pears.

Its taking some adjusting again.

Looking for a new daycare

Ive had it in my head to change Leas daycare for a few months now.

Ive seen some practices that give me pause for concern, no one seems to know state safety policies, and over the month of December when they put all the kids names up on cute shapes associated with the month they put Leas name on a Christmas tree and a stocking even though we told them we are Jewish (she may be the only Jewish baby in the daycare but she isnt the only Jewish baby in the world, its not that hard to find a dradle stencil.)

Today I walked in unnoticed and went straight to the infant room. There was no one in there and at first I thought Maor had picked up Lea and forgot to tell me until I noticed her car seat. I was about to walk back out into the pre K room when I saw Lea sleeping in a take along swing that was sitting in a pack n play in the way back of the room.

I really wish I had taken a picture. I didnt even think of it till I got home. 

It just didnt seem safe at all in my mind. 

....not to mention that I was standing in the room for a good 3 minutes packing up her stuff and putting her in her car seat until someone walked in and said "Oh, how did you sneak past?"

So Ive left voice messages at every daycare from my house to work asking if they have openings.

I am really kinda pissed. I would say 80% of my paycheck...or probably more... goes to daycare because I put my foot down and told Maor we are going with facilities instead of at home because they are regulated but now Im feeling like that was a lot of wasted money.
